Comet Neowise

It’s back to cloudy again here, but before it all hit, I did do a late night trip out. You know Galway. It’s the city of cloud. Usually one big grey, rain filled cloud. Galwayonimbus. Well I figure even with the late night start, it was worth a punt to see Comet Neowise. It’s totally gonna ruin your social medias feeds over the next few days, but it’s worth seeing the tiny fuzzy dot with your own eyes. I went out the Headford road for a while and ended up going to Oranmore. All in search of good foreground. I’m seeing loads of shots of the comet. Fewer though, of the comet in the environment. So I tried to get at least one more arty version. Shot on the Fujifilm X-T2 with the Fujinon XF50-140mm f2.8. Base setting of ISO1600, f2.8 and roughly 6 seconds shutter speed.
