Orla Gartland

While I was booked by the Galway International Arts Festival to shoot some shows, I’ve had to cancel as I’ve covid (again). I did get to shoot Orla Gartland for The Thin Air magazine. The full gallery is up on The Thin Air website.

The show was amazing. When I’m shooting shows, it’s normally first three songs only, and I often leave when I especially busy. But the magic kept me here. It was just that good. Support was from Maria Kelly, playing her self described sad girl songs. They were beautiful, and even more beautiful was the silence from the audience as she sang.

The show was shot on the Fujifilm X-T4 using the 35mm, 56mm, 16-55mm and the 50-140, though mostly with the primes.
