Lightroom Classic updated to 9.4

9.4.jpg

It’s not exciting news as the new update to Lightroom Classic is mostly just bug fixes and camera additions. There as some small features added. Big support news is the addition of the Canon R5 and R6, as well as the Nikon Z6. Lens wise I’m happy to see the Viltrox 85mm f1.8 as I’m considering this lens currently.

Import Dialog

The Import Dialog has a new button added. The ‘Done’ button cancels the Import, but saves the current settings for the next Import. The other buttons remain as before. Import uses the settings and ingests your photos, while Cancel quits the ingest, and ignores changes to the settings.

Built-in Lens Corrections

Newer cameras/lenses, generally mirrorless or compacts, now have built in profiles can be turned off. Older profiles were just applied automatically with option to remove them. These older profiles can’t be turned off.
